In most RTS games its normally all about getting a lot of units and then sending them to the enemy. Typical Characteristics: Spending all points on the cheapest medium tanks and then sending em to their deaths vs a much stronger Tank. "I had 20 tankz, but Pershing owned em all -(" The guy who enjoys using large quantities of mediocre stuff * High ground offers a lot of different bonus.Ĩ. *Hide behind hills, Tank wrecks, buildings to hide your tank or put them in a hull down position. *Hiding your mortar behind buildings or Large rocks. * Using Bushes to hide your infantry, AT-guns and to some extent armor. *The most obvious one…Using stuff on the map as cover for your Infantry. Some beginner examples on how you can use the environment you’re fighting in. Some equipment can be great in urban areas where it can hide behind buildings, Like the M19 for example, but when using it on an open ground it will suddenly be an easy target. You always have to play differently depending on what map your playing on. Mow is one of the few RTS games where using the environment is extremely important. Not using bushes to keep his infantry hidden etc… Typical Characteristics: Placing units on bad locations where they can’t fire cuz of obstacles, bad at using Cover for his soldiers and equipment. Sometimes the AI just won’t do what its told.ĪI won’t shoot through obstacles for example and sometimes its just plain stupid and will start reloading HE-shells when fighting tanks. Not only are the human player better at Aiming then the AI. Without it you will be severally weaken in effectiveness. The guy who never uses direct controlĭirect Control is a really great and an important feature in Men of War. These where the 10 worst mistakes I came across (I’m not counting Team killing and other BS behavior).ġ0. Since Men of war really aren’t like most other RTS games, beginners normally have no clue what to do. MoW got invaded by beginners, it was quite enjoying/frustrating to watch them play. ![]() We have all been noobs at some point in Men of War and all newbie’s always seem to do the same mistakes.Ī few weeks ago when Men of War was free to play by everyone. ![]()
